Guiding Principles
We have developed MM Grupp’s sustainability principles, which define the Group’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values and describe our ESG guiding principles, structure, and approach to sustainable and responsible business.
The principles and frameworks guiding our ESG activities are based on our organizational culture, mission, and core values, reflecting our shared vision to shape the business activities of Group companies in a responsible and sustainable manner.
The ESG perspectives described in these guiding principles serve as guidelines for all our stakeholders, including MM Grupp’s subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates, as well as cooperation partners and clients. These principles form the basis for developing the Group’s sustainable development strategy, setting goals, and managing operations on a unified basis. The guiding principles provide a framework for MM Grupp portfolio companies to manage responsible and sustainable activities at the company level, adapted to the specific needs, ambitions, and core activities of each enterprise. The field of sustainability is managed within the Group on a unified basis to ensure that both the parent company and subsidiaries cooperate effectively to achieve the goals set in the sustainable development strategy.
In managing sustainable business, we take into account the unique needs and opportunities of each company in the portfolio and consider it important to adapt the ESG strategic approach according to the companies' core activities, ambitions, and business strategies. To manage sustainability topics, the Group has established a working group whose activities are coordinated across subsidiaries by the Group Sustainability Manager. The Manager plans daily work in the sustainability field, acts as a contact person for all sustainability-related inquiries, and is responsible for ensuring that all ESG topics are managed on a unified basis within the Group.
